Discover Tantra in this experiential class. We will explore a myriad of active meditations adapted from Tantric texts and modern teachings on sacred sexuality. Tantra, above all is a path of meditation, an invitation to wake up to the bliss of this present moment. What sets red Tantra apart from other spiritual paths is its emphasis on awakening through the senses. By coming back to the wisdom of the body, we open to the truth within ourselves and integrate it on a cellular level. Tantra embraces the union of the masculine and feminine in all aspects of life, no longer are our sexual confusions or revelations swept under the rug and considered ‘unenlightened’…here they are welcomed and revered for the potential for growth that they offer us. This class has evolved into an intuitive, co-created experience between the facilitator and participants. Each week we share for a few minutes, so we can be more truly present to ourselves, and each other. The clarity and honesty with which each individual shares, sets the stage for the depth of our practice that week. We then explore a Tantric meditation which enables us to connect deeply with our bodies and our hearts. We also use tantric practices to share this deeper connection with each other.
